Scott tipped me off to Google Buzz, and suggested I write about it. Thanks for the input Scott! Google Buzz is great from what I have seen so far. My only dislike is that they make it more difficult to embed then the wave.
As you can see, anyone can click that link and check out the Buzz. Now if you want to comment or like this buzz, you will need to be logged in with your google login info. I encourage you to do that now so that you can check out a fully functioning buzz.
You should notice right away that this looks very similar to a facebook wall post. You can comment on my buzz or give it a thumbs up if you think it is cool. It also makes sharing links a lot more fun because it includes those cool thumbnails.
I am still trying to figure out the best tools to use for very big ideas to brainstorm and incubate with. So far, I know that twitter with #ideas is going to be heavily used for idea submission. The next step is to have a tool to take the idea to the next level. Right now, I am leaning toward wave, for this, but it lacks a few features that I am looking for.
Okay, back to buzz. Check out buzz. It will probably slowly integrate itself into your gmail as people learn how to use it. Will it replace facebook? No way…I wish.
